Our complete insect-based cat food suits all breeds and covers all the nutritional requirements for an adult cat to be healthy and happy. The amount of minerals, vitamins, fatty acids and amino acids including taurine have been chosen and fine-tuned based on the latest recommendations from FEDIAF. The magnesium and phosphorus levels are carefully balanced to optimise the urinary pH-level, and the inclusion of cranberry also further supports a healthy urinary tract. The food also contain specific compounds that have been proven to decrease stress-related behaviours in cats. We recommend this food for cats that are fully grown, at around 12 months of age and older.

Ingredient for ingredient

Insects: Comprehensive source of amino acids and the sole protein source of the diet. Insects are a novel protein source for many felines, meaning that this diet is ideal for cats with both known and suspected dietary sensitivities, and may help to reduce the incidence of adverse food reactions.

Oats: Important source of dietary carbohydrate and soluble fibre; wheat-free and hence useful for pets with a known/suspected gluten sensitivity.

Corn: Highly digestible source of carbohydrate and therefore providing energy, as well as providing a source of essential fatty acids, Vitamin E, protein and natural antioxidants.

Peas: An important source of both protein and starch, contributing to energy levels. Also contain vitamins and minerals such as iron, zinc, potassium and magnesium.

Potato: Valuable source of complex carbohydrates and dietary fibre, thereby contributing to energy and gastrointestinal health. Also a source of Vitamin C.

Olive oil: An important contributor to the essential fatty acid (EFA) profile of the diet; EFA roles include maintenance of membrane fluidity in the body; hormonal and immune precursors, and skin and haircoat health.

Brewer's yeast: Rich in B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, and B9) and antioxidants, brewer’s yeast promotes multiple health functions including skin and haircoat condition; this ingredient also supports a healthy intestinal flora via its action as an important source of dietary fibre and MOS.

Minerals: Macrominerals and trace elements that are essential in the diet for the maintenance of health; optimised for the life stage.

Seaweed: An important source of some minerals and trace elements, (such as Calcium Magnesium, Iodine), as well as a source of Vitamin (B12).

Tomato: Suppliers of natural vitamins and antioxidants; important for maintaining a healthy immune system.

Linseed oil: An important contributor to the essential fatty acid (EFA) profile of the diet (including Arachidonic Acid); EFA roles include maintenance of membrane fluidity in the body; hormonal and immune precursors, and skin and haircoat health.

Inulin: Provides a source of FOS or fructooligosaccharides, a prebiotic that help to stimulate growth of beneficial gastrointestinal bacteria, thereby contributing to optimal gut health.

Beetroot: An important source of insoluble dietary fibre, to promote large intestinal health.

Cranberry: a source of vitamin C and has also been included thanks to its positive effects on the health of the bladder wall, to further support the urinary tract of your cat.

Carrot: Rich in vitamin B6, A and K as well as potassium and biotin. Supports a healthy mmune system and quality condition of skin and haircoat.

Kale: A source of iron, antioxidants, and vitamins; to support immune function and red blood cell health.

Parsley: A natural source of Vitamin C, Vitamin K and antioxidants, to support healthy immune function.

Milk protein hydrolysate: A natural source of the compound alpha-casozepine that has been proven to decrease stress-related behaviours in felines. Derived from bovine milk.

Yucca schidigera: Helps to reduce faecal odour via plant saponins that stabilise large intestinal fermentation and aid in reducing ammonia production.

Taurine: Essential and very important amino acid for the cat. Part of the taurine content originates from the insects, while the rest is supplemented.
